Art Exhibits

Second Saturday Review of Literature
Meet others in the area at this monthly book club that shares an interest in reading all kinds of fascinating works of literature. Fiction and non-fiction. Books selected by the group and available for loan at the desk.

Summer Fortnightly Readers Book Group
Our annual summer book discussion group meets two Thursdays a month at 4:30 p.m. You’ll be warmly welcomed whether you’re new to the group or a long-time member. Join us in our community room to enjoy good books, good talk, and cool refreshments. Registration is required.

Book Sales

To add to funds for operations, the Library conducts volunteer-staffed book sales periodically, and welcomes donations of books in good condition for the sales. Concerts, Lectures & Seminars

TALC (The Adult Learning Center)

Driver Safety Program
This single session class is offered in the spring and fall. This AARP refresher course will help seniors drive defensively, deal with aggressive drivers and adjust to vision and hearing loss. Other topics include new traffic laws, proper use of anti-lock brakes, air bags and safety belts, and handling problem situations. Many insurance companies offer discounts to participants of this course. Contact Library for dates.

Writing the Memoir

Josina will lead us on a creative writing journey. You will learn the difference between an autobiography and a memoir as well as tips about what to include and what not to include.
